First day over at Talentum Cup

First day of the Talentum Cup 2009 is over.
In the boys main draw 3 lucky losers got a second chance. One of them, Sterbelle from Belgium took his chance and won in an epic match 46 75 76, 11/9 in the deciding set! On the other courts the seeds mostly won their matches, though 2.seed Prikryl was upset by Hungarian Gabor Csonka and 7th seed Italian Dell'Asta was upset by an other Hungarian Viktor Filipenko in straight sets!
In the girls draw the 1st, 3rd, 4th and 7th seeds lost their first round matches. Lucky losers Julija Jauk from Slovenia, Irina Bara from Romania and Giulia Chirilov from Romania said thanks for the opportunity and won their matches, while Szabina Szlavikovics from the home club also won her opening match as 2nd seed!
